Well hello & happy Wednesday, my fabulous friends!! Gosh, last card I made was 2 months ago....I believe we still had snow on the ground back then!! Now, here in Wisconsin, the past few days have been in the 80's & muggy muggy muggy. I could do without the humidity, but it was such a long winter that I won't complain!!
Since it's been a while since I last sat at my craft table, this card took me a looong time to make, lol. I threw away the first image, the coloring was HORRIBLE! I was pretty spent by the time I finished the image so I kept it rather simple.
Here is
Tilda in Spring Rain, one of all time favorite Magnolias. Believe it or not, she is colored with
Copics!! I do ok with coloring with the markers when I use lighter colors, & this one actually turned out better than the one I had colored with pencils. The papers are Papertrey Avocado & Basic Grey Sugared. I used the
Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch & lattice heart punch. Some ribbon.....
Dew Drops....&
Stickles.....& I clear embossed her boots because all rain boots are shiny :)
I stamped the umbrella twice onto a piece of the Sugared paper, used pencil on the edges for shading, cut them out & added some glitter.
Can ya see the shine on her boots??
This Tilda is available at
7 Kids College Fund, which is where I get *all* my Magnolias!! She also now carries the
Magnolia Chandelier garlands, & you can preorder the new Magnolia Ink
HERE.
Did you know that 7 Kids College Fund is on Facebook?? Just another place to get up-to-date info on their stock!! You can find the fan page
HERE.
Thanks again for hanging with me....I appreciate your support & all the messages I've received. It's good to feel loved :)
