Sundays with Crissy -- Things with Wings

Hello everyone - Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there! I hope you are being spoiled rotten today. I got my gifts from my kids & can I just say they are the BEST :)

Today is my turn to post over at Sundays with Crissy -- & our theme this month is Things with Wings. Oh, decisions decisions.....

I made a quick & simple card using High Hopes "Sitting Bee" & "Open Flower". My mojo took a bit of a holiday so this is the best I could come up with. But I like it -- it's only 3.75" so it's tiny -- I think it's going to be a thank you card for Michael's teacher. I colored the images with Prismas & Goo Gone -- cut out the bee & propped her on the flower -- lots of glitter on the wings -- & added some lines around the image with my Score Board. Sometimes simple is a good thing :)

A quick & simple post to go with my quick & simple card. I am entering this into a few challenges --

Papertake Weekly -- Cute cute cute
Paper Sundaes -- Things with Wings (what a coincidence!)
Make It Monday -- Anything Goes

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday & have a super week!!

Our tour of Miller Park

Hi all!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I am spending the day catching up on things so I can enjoy Mother's Day tomorrow :)

I just wanted to share some pics of a super fun day my family had recently. We've only been to one Brewers game since Miller Park was built, & we had a blast. What could be more fun than a game?? A TOUR of the stadium!

We went with our 4H group, & we decided that we were going to have a potluck lunch before the tour. Unfortunately the one day it wasn't 70 & sunny, was the day we planned to have lunch outside. It was wet, it was cold & we all ended up eating in our cars.

Except for the few diehards you see here - don't they look cold?

The seagulls were hanging around our cars, waiting for some scraps. Wow, are they MEAN! What do they call them?? Rats with wings? Can you see that one about to ambush the one with the food? LOL - they were quite entertaining!

Here are the boys with Mickey, all decked out in his Brewers gear - in front of the Pro Shop, which is full of all things Brewer - insanely priced, of course.

Here are the 3 of us with Bernie Brewer -- you know, the dude that goes down the slide when the Brewers hit a home run? Pardon my hair, as I mentioned it was RAINING!

I couldn't NOT take a picture of this -- this is where Bob Eucker himself sits when he announces the games. Even if you aren't a Brewers fan, you MUST know Bob! Mr. Belvedere? Major League? He's a riot!

Lots of these in the press box walls - they should really keep those windows closed -

Matthew & me in the dugout -

Here's Bernie's slide I was talking about. Back in the old County Stadium, he used to slide into a mug of beer, lol. Can't believe they took his beer away :(

Standing ON THE FIELD -- looking at home plate -

We had such a blast -- I highly recommend taking a tour of your baseball stadium -- I'm sure they all do it -- check their web site!

I'll be back tomorrow with my card for Sundays with Crissy!

Blueberry Tilda

Hello everyone, happy Hump Day! Quick post today -- lots to do! But I wanted to share my card that I finally finished -- just in case any of you weren't believing that I had actually started one :)

I love all my Tildas & I won't even say anymore that any are my favorites. I love them all equally :)  This time I was in the mood for some blueberries --

I definitely don't use this color combo very often -  but came across one of my older paper collections & decided it worked perfectly with this image. The pad is Making Memories Chloe's Closet -- probably one of my first 6x6 pads! I've been very good about using what I have & not buying anything new - especially paper. I have loads & NEED to use some of it up. I colored Tilda with pencils & Goo Gone -- the sentiment is Amuse - lots of dies & punches & the usual extras :)

I added glitter to her apron thing & the basket liner thing -- lol -- I don't know what they're called but I'm sure they should be sparkly :)

I think this photo shows it a little better -- and also the clear glaze I used. Blueberries are shiny right? Yeah, not really -- but in Tilda land they are!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Just Magnolia - buttons & bows
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Make It Monday - anything goes

Thanks to those of you who have emailed me with comments & info about your camera -- I love hearing about what you have & what you love/ don't love about it -- it's helping me narrow down my decision. If you want to tell me about your camera -- leave me a comment in THIS POST -- or shoot me an email!

Thanks for visiting & enjoy the rest of your week!
