A very beautiful tribute, Michelle. It is the very symbol of all we hold dear and believe in. I don't think any of us will ever forget where we were when we first heard the news, news that will scar all of our hearts forever. Our town lost several people that day. People who were loving parents, wives or husbands, siblings or sons and daughters, friendly neighbors and honorable citizens of our town and of the United States, just like you and me. From an observation area near to our home, we can see across to New York. We used to see the Twin Towers. Tonight, we will see only the two beams of light stretching towards the heavens like arms reaching to embrace the ones we have loved and lost.
Welcome to my blog! I'm Michelle (aka MilwaukeeMommy) & I live in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI. Mom to two teenage boys, Matthew (18) & Michael (14) I work for a Promotional Products company as a CSR. In my "me" time I love baking, learning about photography & once in a while making something crafty. Thanks so much for visiting!
