The Hop stops here!!!!

Yes, I am the chosen one this week!!!!! Blog candy right here!!!!!!!!

My counter recently passed 10,000 so along with a couple of stamps, I'm offering a few extras. My blog candy includes:

1) an unmounted High Hopes Santa Portrait stamp

2) an unmounted High Hopes Festive Wreath stamp

3) a 6" x 6" pad of Basic Grey Wassail

4) 2 yards each of 2 different Christmas-y red & green ribbon

5) a pack of Recollections present stickers

6) a 48 pack of multi colored rhinestones

All you need to do is leave a comment on this post .....let's see.....well since Halloween is over & my candy is all Christmas related, how about leaving me a comment telling me what your favorite Christmas cookie is!! Either your favorite to eat or your favorite to make ...or both!!! Mine is Spritz ~~ love to make them (my grandma taught me when I was a wee one) & I love to eat them!! If you have a blog & would like to spread the word, that would be great!!!! If you don't have a blog, well then call all your friends & tell them :) You have until Thursday noon CST to post a comment!!! Coincidentally, my hubby is going in for surgery on Thursday, so I will have Random.org pick a winner as soon as I get home!! Good luck & thanks for participating!!!

My favorite cookie would have to be a NM Favorite, Biscochitos. My Dad makes the best Biscochitos and they are so good you can't stop eating them.

I know it's Christmas when I smell them baking.

My favorite is an old fashioned frosted sugar cookie or sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. I still bake about 6 doz. for my grandkids every Christmas. They love to come help add the frosting or sprinkles.

My favorite Christmas cookies are made by my grandmom. I don't know what they're called but they're like miniature pecan pies..oh so good!

Oh my, I have to pick just one? Hmmm, I guess it would have to be the peanut butter cookie with the hershey kiss on top...yummy!

Allison Rankin said...

Whoa...can't miss this one! Great candy...thanks for the chance!

I am boring...shortbread. A cup of butter for three dozen...how can you wrong?

Anonymous said...

Wow there are so many great ones. But I guess my favorite one is sugar cutout cookies. I don't make them as they are way too much work, however, everyone knows I love them and make them for me. How can you go wrong with that.
Hope your husbands surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery. He must be totally sick of eating baby food.

Funny you should speak of cookies and stamping in the same sentence!! Most of my cards have cookie crumbs as decorations!! When I married my husband, I learned to make Pfeffernouse(peppernuts) and they are made with lard (a warning of what your rear will look like!!) but they are fabulous with coffee. Great anise flavor! They are almost as good as your blog candy offering! Congrats on the milestone!

What a lovely combination for your blog candy dear.
My favorite cookies to make and eat (not quite sure of the name off the top of my head but it is more like a sugar cookie and as soon as you take them out of the oven you det a Hersheys Chocolate Kiss in the middle of them Oh hum hum hum. Congrats on your hits dear.

Katarina said...

We don't really have that tradition of having Christmas cookies here in Sweden (except the gingerbread ones). But one thing that I can't be without, (although I have to sometimes because we don't always spend X-mas together), is my fiancée's brother in law's Chrismas candy. It's a secret recipy and we've been trying to duplicate it with...eh...different results. It's made of sugar, cream, syrup, butter and oatmeal. It's impossible to put down once you've started eating them!

My favorite cookies at Christmas are shortbread. My Dad was really fond of them and my Mom didn't have sucess making them so I always made a batch for my Dad at Christmas I either hand delivered them (we spent every second Christmas with my family 400 mile drive) or I sent them by Greyhound. I got the recipe was from my best friend when I was in my teens it was her Grandmas recipe she was Scottish. They are one item on the list every year. My Dad passed away 15 years ago but I think of him every year as I bake my shorbread. Thanks for the chance to win some great blog candy. Ann Lind

Hi M&M! I love making Angel Cookies during the holiday season. I remember making them with my mom many years ago. They are the ones that you dip in water and then sprinkles and lay on a pan. Just before they are done baking in the oven, you put in a chocolate star. They are so much fun to make and I have carried on the tradition with my own daughters!

I LOVE YOUR BLOG! Happy Day!

OH gosh I love your cards! And cookies! LOL Spritz would be my favorite. My mom used to make them with her "gun". It was so hard to not eat them right away, but they really are better the next day!

When I grew up and moved to Texas, I'd call her to "get the recipe" every year. She'd stay on the phone with me while I made them and it was almost like we were baking together.

Ahhh fond memories. Thank you for reminding me. I'm going to make them with my daughter this year.
